GripRush vs. regular tape
Compare the GripRush grip system with a traditional taped handle and see the features at a glance.
| Specification | GripRush grip | Regular tape |
|---|---|---|
| Material | High-quality polypropylene (PP): durable, lightweight, water-resistant and built for lasting performance. | Typically cloth or friction tape wrapped directly around the stick. |
| Feel and control | Precision-textured and treated for an enhanced tacky feel and a consistent hold in playing conditions. | Grip and feel depend on tape type, layering and how often it is replaced. |
| Glove wear | Designed to be gentle on gloves during play. | Traditional tape can create friction that may contribute to glove wear over time. |
| Stick compatibility | Designed for youth, junior, intermediate and senior sticks, including most hockey sticks and goalie paddles. | Can be applied to many sticks; coverage and feel vary by wrapping technique. |
| Reusability and materials | Recyclable, eco-friendly materials, designed as a durable grip solution. | Adhesive tape is commonly removed and replaced as it wears. |
Made for hockey players of all levels, GripRush is designed to improve control and confidence across your game.

Installation Guide
In case if your grip is too loose, we would advise you to use heat gun for second application. It has higher temperature and grip should shrink as much as it can and then there must be no problems. However, please, watch the installation video and read the instruction carefully!
It is also possible to apply Griprush over already existing tape job, with doing so Griprush will shrink and fit in form of your old tape job, this is preferred way if you don’t want to change the feeling you are already familiar with.
Griprush should last till your stick breaks, but be aware that if you step on it with skate, it may be cut and this therefore might lead to the fact that Griprush fails to last that long.
.
Griprush lasts only till stick brakes, it cannot be taken off and used again.
It depends on how big is the knob of the stick, if it is bigger than 4.2CM in diameter you will not be able to use it over the knob, however still the grip can be installed on the stick part, afterwards applying over it the knob with tape.
